Eight Albion squads qualify for MIAA Team GPA awards

Eight Albion College squads earned the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Team GPA Award for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The MIAA Team GPA Award is presented to teams achieving a 3.3 or better GPA for the academic year.

The Briton women's soccer team, led by Head Coach Eric Scott, led the way, finishing the year with a 3.61 GPA.

The women's cross country team (3.593), coached by Derick Lawrence, volleyball team (3.589), coached by Kristin de St. Aubin, the women's swimming and diving team (3.532), coached by Nick Stone, and the women's golf team (3.513), coached by Jordan McArleton, were not far behind in the chase for the best team GPA at Albion.

Briton squads also receiving the MIAA Team GPA award included women's basketball (3.401, coached by Doreen Carden), men's tennis (3.495, coached by Kacie Zuck) and women's tennis (3.351, coached by Kacie Zuck).
