ArShawn Parker, a senior guard on the men’s basketball team, was named the men’s Student-Athlete of the Week at the Jan. 14 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee meeting.
The Mumford High School product is enjoying the best season of his Albion career. He scored in double figures as the Britons started Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action 3-0. He scored 24 as Albion claimed a victory over Adrian College.
Jake Burris, a senior diver, was the other nominee.
