Football quarterback Kyle Thomas, a sophomore from Wixom, Mich., was selected as the Britons Female Athlete of the Week at the Sept. 10 meeting of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Thomas threw for 466 yards and racked up 542 yards of total offense, both Albion single-game records, as the Britons sailed past Franklin College, 56-35, in the Sept. 8 home opener.
Through two games, Thomas ranks among the NCAA Division III statistical leaders in passing yards, passing touchdowns, total offense, passing efficiency and points responsible for.
Cross country runner Trey Cucuro was also nominated.
