Kiehl Smith was named the Male Student-Athlete of the Week at the Feb. 19 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee meeting. He holds the fastest time in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association in the 800 meters going into the league's indoor championship meet.
Thrower Andrew Strzelecki was nominated after breaking the school record in the weight throw.
